I thank God that even in discipline, He somehow shows He’s near. No, I haven’t fornicated or entered a sinful ANR, but faulty thinking has led me down the path of being more tolerant of sin.
I’ve realized how lax I became, and God has been right on time in taking some of my peace away, to correct me and reorient me towards dependence on Him. Now I have a lot more peace. Even better, I also have more joy and I’m on the upswing in many areas too.
We need to be ever vigilant, for it’s always a slow, imperceptible fade towards sin.
Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.
